Read a book, Do a puzzle, Watch a video, Listen to a CD,
Play with a puppet, Look at stuff under a microscope,
or check out a discovery box!
What's a discovery box? It's a box filled with information, pictures, objects and quizzes about a specific topic. You take the box from the Library-Lab into the museum to examine it and do the quiz or activity. Return it to the Library-Lab when you are done, and have your quiz sheet stamped with our new Children's Library Lab logo. We've got boxes for children and teens or adults. Each box takes from 10-25 minutes to complete, depending upon the age level. What books do we have? Over 200 brand-new children's books on subjects ranging from science to history to culture.
