It's time to learn and play at The Journey Museum & Learning Center! With a multitude of educational topics and activities for kids, there's something new to experience every day of the week. At The Journey Museum & Learning Center, we strive for life-long learning with programming that is meant to engage all ages and provide an environment to learn something new and have fun while doing it.

Whether it's Toddler TuesdaysClassroom Outreach in our travelling Inflatable Planetarium, or the Wells Fargo Theater, we design all of our programs to actively engage our audiences and stimulate the desire to learn and understand more about the world around us, as well as above us. All of the educational activities for kids are thoroughly thought out and planned with a vision and plan in mind.

Take some time to discover and dust off bones in our Paleontology Tent or put your science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills to the test in our STEAM powered learning lab. Bring your daycare group, classroom, or your homeschool kids for a day of custom group programming. Enjoy a stunning big screen experience with our National Geographic Museum Cinema Series (COMING SOON!) or watch one of our current selections of timeless films in the Wells Fargo Theater. Our Learn & Play Camps provide kids an opportunity to enhance their skills in the summer months while our adult programs like Turtle Soup and Learning Forums prove that learning has no age limit.

When you learn and play at The Journey Museum & Learning Center, you stimulate your mind in an environment that encourages life-long learning. Subjects stem from the initial museum collections of geology and paleontology, archaeology, Native American, and pioneer themes, as well as real-world events, art, and space sciences to create an eclectic and ever-changing set of programs and events.
