Have you ever looked at a specimen through a microscope? Put on a lab coat and give it a try! The STEAM Lab is the perfect place for children and families to learn something new together. The STEAM Lab transcends age and experience and empowers children to set their own pace, providing them an environment to learn and discover with everything in our Lab. Stocked with activities, books, puzzles, puppets, microscopes, discovery boxes and more, the STEAM Lab is filled with endless possibilities for learning fun and numerous activities for kids.

In the STEAM Lab, the museum comes to life for kids and they are able to get hands on with science, technology, engineering, art, and math. The STEAM Lab is stocked full with educational tools to teach kids about the things that they see in the museum, such as history on the area, Native American culture like the tipi, and even learning about dinosaurs in a real and fun way. Everything represented in The Journey Museum & Learning Center is represented in the Learning Lab: Powered by STEAM in fun activities for kids that help them get their hands dirty and get hands on with science, technology, engineering, art, and math themes.

The Learning Lab: Powered by STEAM at The Journey Museum & Learning Center offers many opportunities and activities for kids to make the museum come to life. There are many other activities for kids and events kids would enjoy taking part in on our calendar of events.
