Kids and adults alike participate in activities that cover a multitude of topics! Want to learn about beadwork, one of the best known art forms practiced by Native Americans? Put what you learn to the test by making your own beadwork design of a turtle or salamander! Discover true cultures of people you may not know too much about. Have you heard of the Eskimo people? Well did you know that the word “Eskimo” was a word invented by French mountaineers who didn’t speak their language, and it’s not the real name for their people! In fact – no one knows what “Eskimo” even means? Use your knowledge from the learning center and creative thinking to accomplish a task at this unique children’s museum. Get the family together and construct missile launchers that will hit a target at 10 meters, using golf balls as practice shots before making the ultimate test – shooting the target with an egg! There’s a different activity every week and never a shortage of fun at the learning center and children’s museum.
Erupting volcanoes, creating clouds in bottles and more! Bring the whole family for activities, experiments, and crafts that make learning FUN! Families that learn together, grow together. Geared toward families with members between the ages of 5 to 105.
For younger kids, join us for Toddler Tuesdays at the children’s museum!
