A New, Older World
October 23, 2017 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free admission!
A special presentation by Drs. Steve and Kathleen Holen sponsored by the Darton Geological Society & South Dakota Archeology Society takes us back in time to explore a 130,000 year old Cerutti Mastadon Site.
Discoveries made at the site show man-made tools inflicted the wounds found on the mastadon bones.
Prior to the excavation, scientists believed the earliest human species migrated to America about 30,000 years ago, much later than the Cerutti Mastadon site suggests.
Because of the findings, major questions are being raised within the scientific community, including how and when our early human ancestors reached the Americas.
Join us as we embark on a mysterious scientific journey to reveal a new, older world.
