Discovery Expedition: Design A Constellation

September 30, 2017 - October 1, 2017  3:30 pm - 4:00 pm

*Special Discovery Expedition Saturday, Sept. 30 @ 11:30 AM*

The museum will be closed from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM Saturday, Sept. 30 to allow for filming of the Amazon series Fireball Run: Big Country.

During this time, the Journey Museum & Learning Center staff will be making Stars on a Stick, sweet rice krispies treats. There will also be a guided tour of our grounds and gardens to show the changes we have planned for 2018. All ages are welcome to attend the live filming to cheer on contestants and enjoy the warm day!

*Sunday, Oct. 1 Discovery Expedition resumes at its regular hours 3:30 - 4 pm*

By associating patterns of stars that remind us of objects or characters from a story, it makes it easier to find them in the night sky! In this session, you will design your own constellation.

Held every Saturday & Sunday, Discovery Expeditions are half-hour activities, experiments and crafts that make learning FUN! Geared toward families with members ages 5 to 105.

Included in regular museum admission or FREE with Family Membership.

**Time subject to change.**
