Learning Forum - 2020: A Space Symphony
January 5, 2020 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Learning Forums are thought-provoking presentations on a wide variety of topics. Each program features a 45-minute presentation, followed by an open forum with questions and discussion about the topic.
This week, The Journey Museum and Learning Center presents, "2020: A Space Symphony."
With this program, art meets science! Relax in our theater while we take you to the moon, the International Space Station and throughout the universe on the big screen. This is a unique STEAM (science, technology, art and mathematics) experience set to classical music.
These images, coming from NASA Satellites, are real-time images from areas of the Solar System that we don't normally get to see!
Audiences will once again experience the sights and sounds of space after The Journey Museum and Learning Center partnered with the Black Hills Symphony Orchestra in December for their "Symphonic Space Odyssey."
"A fantastic start to our season," says Troy Kilpatrick, the executive director of The Journey Museum and Learning Center.
Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, half-off for members. Call 605-394-6923 to reserve tickets.
