Learning Forum: "A Falconer's Memoir"
January 13, 2019 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Learning Forums are back with Dan O’Brien as the year's first presenter on Sunday, Jan. 13.
Learning Forums are thought-provoking presentations on a wide variety of topics. Each program features a 45-minute presentation, followed by an open forum with questions and discussion about the topic.
Dan has been a rancher and a wildlife biologist for more than 30 years. As one of the country's most celebrated falconers, he will present his program called "A Falconer's Memoir."
Guests will be able to see a live falcon up close.
Dan’s memoirs on falconry are intimate and revealing explorations of his life-long search for wildness on the Great Plains.
Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, half-off for members, & FREE for students ages 6 - 17 (includes museum admission). Call 605-394-6923 to reserve tickets.
