Learning Forum - "Transformations - The Homestake Opera House & Phoebe Hearst"

Sarah Carlson, Executive Director of the Homestake Opera House in Lead, shares the unique story of how a newspaper magnate's mother, Phoebe Hearst, played a key role in the conception and formation of the Homestake Opera House, a centerpiece of Lead's arts and culture atmosphere for over 100 years.
Learning Forums are wide-ranging, thought-provoking presentations. Each program includes a 45-minute presentation followed by a meet and great with the presenters with light snacks and refreshments
Admission includes all other museum activities and is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, half-off for members & FREE for students (ages 6 - 17) with a paid adult/senior admission. Reserve your spot in advance by calling 605-394-6923.
