Planes, Trains & Motorcycles Grand Opening

January 17, 2020  5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

JAN. 17, 2020 - April 2020
"PLANES, TRAINS & MOTORCYCLES"

Coming to The Journey Museum and Learning Center is “Planes, Trains & Motorcycles,”  which explores the rich and unique history of transportation in the Black Hills. The Grand Opening for the exhibit will be an open house format on Jan. 17, 2020 from 1:30-6:30 p.m.

Your 2-day admission charge includes the opportunity to see this exhibit! We recommend you come to Turtle Soup that day and meet some of the partners of the exhibit right after Turtle Soup is done! For Turtle Soup tickets, call 605-394-6923.

“This exhibit is all about early transportation in the Black Hills and how it has changed and become better in the modern-day,” says Administration, Curation, and Exhibits Coordinator Corey Christianson with The Journey Museum and Learning Center.

Exhibit partners include the South Dakota Railroad Museum, D.C. Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery & Archives, Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame, and Rapid City Regional Airport.

You can view "Planes, Trains & Motorcycles" through April 2020 with admission to The Journey Museum and Learning Center - $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and FREE for members.
