Space Weather and Our Changing Skies by Black Hills Astronomical Society

Keith Sherburn, NOAA Meterologist, will present on space weather. Space weather has many potential impacts on our climate and daily lives. This talk provides an overview of space weather phenomena, how they are forecast by the Space Weather Prediction Center, and how they could influence our lives in the present and future.
This is a regular meeting of the Black Hills Astronomical Society. All programs are free and open to the public. Following the program there will be a short break then a business meeting is held, at which interested members of the public are welcome.
