V-Day 2020

February 29, 2020  7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

"The Vagina Monologues" will be performed at The Journey Museum and Learning Center on Saturday, Feb. 29. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show runs from 7-9:30 p.m.

This is an adult-themed show so 18+ is recommended. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online here. Beer, wine and other refreshments will be available for purchase on the night of the show.

V-Day grew out of Eve Ensler's iconic show "The Vagina Monologues," which exploded onto the scene in 1998, breaking taboos about women’s sexuality and shattering silence around violence done to women and girls.

First performed Off-Broadway and then around the world, the play dives into the mystery, humor, pain, power, wisdom, outrage and excitement in women’s experiences.

The New York Times calls the play, "Probably the most important piece of political theater of the last decade."

All proceeds are donated to Working Against Violence, Inc. (WAVI) in Rapid City, South Dakota.
