STEAM Weekends are back! Join us every weekend for Toddler Time and Discovery Expeditions for kids of all ages!

Exploding Snowmen

January 28 & January 29


The weather outside is maybe frightful, but come on in and make a snowman with us! For Discovery Expedition we will be making a snowman with chemistry using the power of Carbon Dioxide!
In Toddler Time we will also be making a snowman as well as learning about shapes!






Seasons and Earth's Rotation

February 4 & Feburary 5

For Toddler Time we will be learning about the Earth's rotation and orbit around the sun using models and movement!
In Discovery Expedition we will learn how the planetary tilt causes changes in weather!






Valentines Day Surprise

February 11 & February 12

Join us for a Valentines Day Surprise in this week's Discovery Expedition! Here's a hint about the surprise: things will be bubbly!
As for Toddler Time, kids will be making Valentines Day Cards and taking part in the Discovery Expedition Surprise!






Invisible Ink

February 18 & February 19

Toddlers will be drawing a picture using Invisible Ink!
In this week's Discovery Expedition, learn how to make Invisible Ink and the chemistry that makes it happen!







Create Your Own Board Game!!

February 25 & February 26

Toddlers will be making their own board game with colors and shapes!
Older kids will learn about the mechanics of designing a board game and create it!
Both activities can be taken home to play!






Dinosaur Toothpaste

March 4 & March 5

Toddlers will experience mad science and watch our Dinosaur Toothpaste Experiement
In Discovery Expedition kids will actively get to participate in the experiment themselves!

The Journey Museum is currently in Winter Hours:

Winter Hours

(October 1st – April 30th)
10 AM – 5 PM Monday through Saturday
1 PM – 5 PM Sundays

Summer Hours

(May 1st – September 30th)
9 AM – 6 PM Monday through Saturday
11 AM – 5 PM Sundays

Admission

All individual admissions are good for two days with receipt.

Museum General Admission:

Adults (ages 18+) $10
Seniors (ages 62+) $8
Students (ages 6 – 17) $7
Children 5 & under FREE with family

Groups (10+ people):

$7 per person

Tour guides available. Please call (605) 394-6923 one week prior to visit to schedule.

Education Groups (12+ students):

$3 per student (all students 18 and under)
$5 College Students

Chaperones are requested. Special pricing will be extended to adult chaperones.
