The Journey Museum and Learning Center is looking for gardening and lawn care volunteers
Volunteering is a wonderful way to meet new friends, help others and make a difference in your community.
We're working on the grounds every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own tools and can be given work spaces far from others. Lunch is provided!
Call us at 605-394-6923 for more information.
We are taking enhanced health and safety measures for volunteers, guests and staff. The work being done by volunteers is outside, and social distancing is easily managed. However, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.
COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
By volunteering at The Journey Museum and Learning Center, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
