Generous local business sponsors allow us to continue to provide innovative and enhanced learning opportunities to students in our community through our natural history museum.

It’s because of them that we are able to take our travelling planetarium to various schools in South Dakota through our Outreach Program: from Pine Ridge and St. Thomas More west of the Missouri and Chester and Sioux Falls to the east. Through sponsors, we are able to give these students a planetarium experience that they would have to travel to Minneapolis or Denver to get. Our inflatable planetarium is such an incredible asset to The Journey Museum & Learning Center and we want to share it with every student.

It’s because of our sponsors that we’re able to offer Toddler Tuesdays with families for the opportunity to have toddlers begin their learning of the natural history museum. Without their help, we would not be able to offer this educational opportunity for toddlers in the Rapid City community to begin learning about our history and our past.

It’s because of our sponsors that we are able to allow teenagers and students the chance to go to a unique summer camp at the natural history museum rather than do nothing during the summer. Thanks to them students are able to continue their education through the summer in the arts, in space exploration, and in paleontology, geology, and archaeology. Without their help, students would not have direct access to summer camps offered by their local natural history museum.

We thank our sponsors for their continued support and for showing how important it is to support education and your local natural history museum. We couldn’t do a lot without their support.
