Help tell the stories of the Black Hills—and create experiences that bring people together.
The Journey Museum is seeking a creative, organized, and community-minded Marketing & Events Coordinator to promote the museum, coordinate events and facility rentals, and strengthen connections throughout the Black Hills region.
This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety. You may create social media content, design promotional materials, update the website, coordinate an event, assist a rental client, or welcome a visiting group—all while working with a collaborative museum team.

Are you interested in volunteering at The Journey Museum? We are always looking for dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in the community. Whether you are interested in gardening, providing tours of the museum, helping in our gift shop, or working with our education team, we have a role for you. We are willing to work with your schedule and needs to create an opportunity for you to connect with the history, science, and culture of the Black Hills.
