This April, explore open-ended creativity through hands-on artmaking!
Join us this April for a hands-on STEAM series where creativity meets science, engineering, and design! Each Saturday features rotating stations that invite participants to experiment, build, and explore using simple materials in innovative ways. These sessions are process-based and flexible — participants may move between stations at their own pace, dive deeply into one project, or sample a variety of activities.
Designed for all ages, April’s series blends artful making with real-world STEM concepts including light reflection, structural tension, motion, balance, and prototyping.
All materials provided. All ages welcome.
Celebrate invention and imagination in this open-ended prototyping session. Participants design, build, test, and improve their creations using a variety of mixed materials. Whether constructing something that balances, moves, or tells a symbolic story, makers engage in the engineering design process through hands-on exploration and creative freedom.
Stations include:
Symbol Story Panels
Pattern & Texture Design Studio
3D Mixed-Material Prototype Challenge
STEAM Saturdays are offered seasonally from October through April and are fun for the whole family. No need to pre-register, just bring your curiosity!
